Employing modern technologies and progressive public safety strategies, the City of Hattiesburg’s Police & Fire Training Academy is a premier training facility for first responders with a focus on providing services “the Hattiesburg Way.”
As a recruit for the Hattiesburg Police Department or the Hattiesburg Fire Department, you will take part in a curriculum that meets state standards, and then goes beyond. You’ll find that training at the Hattiesburg Academy will give you all the tools you need to be a Hattiesburg first responder. Upon graduation, you’ll walk into your new career with a sense of pride knowing that you are working to improve and protect the quality of life for the residents of Hattiesburg.
